Synopsis:
Adam, one half of globally successful indie band duo The Make arrives at the T in the Park music festival for his latest gig, but finds himself accidentally handcuffed to Morello, lead singer for all girl punk band The Dirty Pink’s, and Adam’s nemesis. With no key in sight the feuding pair have to get through the weekend as best they can delivering not one but two performances whilst having to placate a jealous girlfriend, an angry boyfriend and a lunatic manager. This is one weekend they will never forget.
YOU INSTEAD is a free-wheeling, rock ‘n’ roll romantic comedy set against an unforgettable lost weekend at a music festival, filled with lust, mud, betrayal, portaloos and a hundred thousand people partying to the greatest music in the world.

You Instead had a home town World premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival in 2011, which formed part of the 15th birthday celebrations for Sigma Films
