Content Synopsis:
Trawlermen was a series of programmes following the extraordinary lives and exploits of the brave Trawlermen based at Peterhead and Fraserburgh, Scotland. Setting out in all weathers, Trawlermen have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. The series was produced by BBC Birmingham, with Executive Producer Bill Lyons.
Technical Details:
Molinare provided the post production on Series 2, 3 and 4 of Trawlermen.
Filmed in extremely harsh conditions on standard Def Digi Beta, the programmes were onlined by Nick Anderson and graded by Graham Holtom, with the Audio being Mixed by George Foulgham and Tracklayed by Lisa-Marie Mcstay.
Awards & Nominations:
George and Lisa-Marie were awarded the 2010 BAFTA Factual Sound Award for their Audio efforts on Series 4, haviong previously been nominated in that category in 2008 for Series 2. They also won a UK Screen Sound Award in 2010.
