What is the Molinare Academy?
Traditionally employing runners was the main way for young people to enter the post production industry. We still employ runners, but to supplement that and to drive a more diverse workforce, we decided in 2021 to launch the Molinare Academy.
We want to help develop the next generation of creatives, engineers, and technical operators across the industry, as well as be a more inclusive organisation and use the experience and talent we have at Molinare to pass on knowledge and mentor young people. Working with the best industry partners, we will provide real-world experience with on-the job training and practical learning across the TV and film supply chain business.
Applications for this year’s Academy are currently closed.
Successful applicants to our academy will be offered a 12-month, fully paid contract. The first three months of the program form part of a probation period following a normal new starter process. For the first six months, trainees will spend a month in each area of post production and some time with partners in the wider supply chain before deciding where they want to specialise and spend their final six months. Applicants must have both the attitude and the aptitude for the job, and be a good fit aligned with our values.

Molinare is involved in several R&D projects helping to push the boundaries in all areas of interactive, sound, and picture workflow and post production. Our in-house teams develop solutions along with our trusted partners to allow us to maximise the impact of our creative staff and ultimately deliver the best work for our clients.
